Civil Aviation

Since 2016, GRC ONE has been involved with 2 large international civil aviation authorities. This has resulted in the development of an integrated risk and governance environment that addresses the varied and complex demands of this crucial sector, including:

  • Asset Management Integrated registers of the various assets under the authority’s control, from the aircraft operated by the various airlines down to their individual parts and components;
  • Incident Recording & Management Integration with systems such as flight data systems to record records of near misses, fly bys, mechanical problems etc, linked to our Metrics module to show current KRI and KCI statuses;
  • Assessments & Checks A range of assessment templates specifically designed to provide the necessary safety checks across both the assets and the various operations, plus the requisite oversight and authorisations needed; and
  • Training & Certification Management the management and monitoring of training records and individual certifications to ensure that all individuals are competent, up to date and aware of their responsibilities.

To enhance this solution, the product has been integrated with systems from two other key software vendors in order to provide further important elements:

  • Process Analysis Facilities to enable the documentation of all the underlying processes involved in the key controls and procedures involved in the operations and then tools to stress test these in order to optimise their efficiency and completeness; and
  • Flight Analysis The monitoring of the locations of each aircraft around the globe, together with information about any specific risks or incidents that might affect these.
